In Our Bags

Apologies for neglecting our fellow folk golfers for so long! How are you all faring out on the fairways?

We’re fully into another “Summer of Golf”, playing at least three rounds a week and enjoying it immensely.

Here are some photos from a few of our many summer outings:

In the spirit of gear-geekery, here’s the full rundown on our current club situation:

Kieran: 7 iron (Callaway Big Bertha OS - bought used online); pitching wedge (Callaway — bought used online); putter (Ping Anser 2 - found at a yard sale in East Nashville)

Rayna: 7 hybrid (Callaway Maverick - bought used online); 9 iron (Catalyst by Bob Toski - from KK’s collection, probably from Southern Thrift); putter (TaylorMade Rossa Inza- belonged to Jamie O’Hara, given to us by his wife, Lola)

And we carry our wee sets of clubs in our appropriately diminutive Orlimar “Pitch N Putt” Sunday bags.

What’s in your bag these days?

PS: For some reason, we continue to include info on our folk golf adventures in our newsletter. Pop on over there if you care to keep up!
